Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 as a political contributor for CNN. She worked on campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013.  There was speculation that she would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She was appointed Communications Director at the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of 2015.
